Job Description

LRC Logistics is looking for Same-Day Courier Drivers to help support urgent and time-sensitive deliveries across the UK. This role suits someone who is organised, responsive and able to stay calm when timings matter.

You’ll be trusted to manage collections and deliveries professionally, keeping the team informed and making sure customers receive the level of service they expect from LRC.

Responsibilities

• Complete urgent same-day collections and deliveries.

• Respond quickly to route updates and job instructions.

• Keep the office informed of arrival times, delays or delivery issues.

• Handle goods with care and follow customer instructions accurately.

• Provide proof of delivery where required.

• Represent LRC professionally with every customer interaction.

• Maintain safe driving standards at all times.‍

Basic Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.

• Previous driving or courier experience.

• Strong time management and route awareness.

• Calm, reliable and able to work under pressure.

• Good communication with customers and the operations team.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for each job.

Preferred Requirements

• Same-day courier experience.

• Own van considered, depending on role structure.

• Knowledge of London, the South East and UK motorway routes.

• Comfortable using mobile apps, maps and delivery systems.
